During a royal visit to a small English town one day Prince Philip stopped to speak with two elderly ladies. "I'm a hundred and four," one of the women remarked, "and my friend here is a hundred and one."
"I don't believe it," Philip replied with a gallant smile. "Ladies always take ten years off their age."
