Will Ferrell's (sadly unfulfilled) idea for his second "Saturday Night Live" audition -- filling a briefcase with fake money and pretending to bribe producer Lorne Micheals by stacking it upon his desk -- was inspired by another legendary performance. "Adam Sandler did a bit," Farrell recalled, "where he humped a chair like a dog when he met Lorne -- and was signed on the spot."
