"One time," "Today" show weatherman Al Roker recalled, "I had this guy [on the air, outside Rockefeller Center in New York] who had a sign and it said, 'JILL WILL YOU MARRY ME?' I thought, 'Oh how sweet, he wants to propose.' So I went up to him and I said, 'You must really care about Jill.' He goes, 'Well I care about Jill, but I love Jeff more!' And with that, he turns to the guy next to him and gives him a big open-mouthed kiss! Huge, unbelievable.
"I looked in the camera and said, 'See, they won't show you that on 'Will & Grace'!"
[Roker was later asked if that was the first gay moment on the "Today" show. His reply? "Well, that was on camera."]
