How did Bernie Mac get his start as a comedian? "When my grandfather passed away," he once recalled, "it was so boring [at the funeral], I got up, and I performed for an hour and 45 minutes. After that, everyone was like, 'Man, that was deep, that was cool.' So anytime somebody died, they called me! I did a couple of them. 'Man, my uncle died, can you come to the funeral?'"
