Deion Sanders: Somersault

In the sixth inning of a game against the Kansas City Royals in July 1990, New York Yankees star Deion Sanders laced a line drive to deep right centerfield. As the ball rolled to the wall, Sanders tried to complete the first inside-the-park home run at Yankee Stadium in six years. When Royals catcher Mike Macfarlane attempted to head him off at the plate, Sanders simply somersaulted over him and scurried back to the plate before Macfarlane could tag him out.
Everyone who saw the play was in utter awe -- including Sanders. "I can't wait to get home," he exclaimed, "and watch that play on TV!"
