"I went to Canada for a Michael J. Fox fund-raising thing," Denis Leary once recalled, "the first time I ever forgot to bring it [his passport]. They were like, 'Just show your ID.' I said, 'I have my gym ID.' And I got into Canada with a gym ID! I think that should be Canada's motto: 'You don't need a passport.' Canada is really Minnesota, part II.'"
