Dumb criminals arrested for marijuana offenses

In 2007, Sheriff's deputies in Hidalgo County, Texas, arrested a man after fiding several pounds of pot while investigating a break-in at his home. The owner, who escaped when two masked men broke in, complained to police that they had stolen 150 pounds of marijuana which he had been wrapping for shipment. "The guy walked right up and said the drugs were his," sheriff Lupe Trevino said. "That's not the smartest move." Meanwhile, police in Danbury, Connecticutt, arrested a man for marijuana posession after he entered their station smoking a cigar laced with marijuana. Told that smoking was not allowed in the building, the suspect stubbed it out on the counter and was promptly arrested.
