Dustin Hoffman: "The scene [in The Graduate (1967)] where I grab [Anne Bancroft's] breast and she doesn't respond and I bang my head against the wall slowly? That was not in the script. It happened in rehearsal. It happened because I was so nervous, and we were wainting to start, and to break the ice I grabbed Anne's breast. And it was great because she ignored me. Nichols [director Mike Nichols] saw it and laughed, and we put it in."
