Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) originally ended with Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep walking into a park, each holding one of young Billy Kramer's hands. Though they are still divorced, their child has brought them together. After crying during an early take, Streep stopped to remove some mascara stains. Then, before doing another take, she turned to Hoffman and asked, "How do I look?" "Terrific," he replied... "We were all electrified," Hoffman recalled years later, "and we felt, 'there's the end of the movie!'"
