When Jim Carrey began performing at The Comedy Store early in his career, Rodney Dangerfield was so impressed that he had the budding comic signed on as an opening act for an entire season.
Years later, Carrey made a memorable appearance at The Comedy Store's 20th anniversary special. Indeed, he saw fit to mark the occasion by wearing a special costume: nothing but a sock, strategically placed upon his "lower limb."
