In April 2002, Lloyd Scott earned a place in the record books by "running" the London marathon in five days, eight hours and 29 minutes... wearing a 150lb diving suit. In November 2002, Scott attempted to break his record at the New York Marathon, pausing several times -- for example, to enjoy a hot dog.
[In October 2003, Scott (whose stunts raised money for children with cancer) "ran" the Loch Ness marathon, covering the entire 26-mile, 385-yard course underwater.]
