Shortly after moving to Hollywood, Will Sasso received a frantic call from his Italian father. The older man recounted a disturbing conversation he had had with another man: "He said, 'I'm a black-a bastard.. Will-a Sasso -- he owes me-a money!'" Will asked his father to calm down and tell him exactly what the man had said. "He said, 'I'm a black-a bastard," he repeated. "Will-a Sasso -- he owes $18.65 for-a Top Gun and a Dirty Dancing!'" [It was Blockbuster calling to collect some late fees.]
