While attending the symphony one evening, Henry Parker was dismayed to find that several neighboring seats were occupied by incessant talkers.
Finally, exasperated, he turned to address the inconsiderate group: "Those people on the stage," he drily declared, "are making such a noise I can't hear a word you're saying!"
