In 2007, a group of musically-gifted Bay Area educators formed a rock band called the Angry Tired Teachers. Song lyrics include: "Back in the classroom, open your books / The students don't know how mean they look;" "Where have all the raises gone? / To administrators, every one;" and "I could go to another district in some white-collar town / But I'm going to stay here and fight these district clowns..."
